Avionics Europe has long been considered the premiere international platform for the global avionics industry. In 2014, we’re going to maximize that global vision by moving the event to Abu Dhabi and renaming it Avionics International.

Avionics International 2014 will be located at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) – a venue that will provide the facilities Avionics International will require in 2014 to take a next great leap forward as it brings together a who’s who of global avionics leaders and showcases the most innovative technologies from around the world. 

2013 marked the largest, most exciting Avionics Europe to date – both in terms of attendees and exhibitors. 

This success serves as the perfect launch pad for even greater growth as the event moves to Abu Dhabi and expands its audience and exhibition from primarily Europe and North America to a truly worldwide event. 

Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates, is the diverse, highly modern economic hub of the region as well as a top-notch tourist destination reputed for its rich culture, sandy beaches, mountains and beautiful deserts. It’s a destination we know our delegates and exhibitors will be delighted to visit.

Abu Dhabi also boasts a rapidly growing aerospace industry, which is a key element of the emirate’s diversification and growth plans. In fact, aviation business constitutes nearly 15% of the UAE’s economy.

Avionics International (formerly Avionics Europe), the premiere international platform for the global avionics industry, and Abu Dhabi Air Expo, the leading general aviation exhibition in the Middle East, are delighted to announce an incredible partnership between the events, which will both be held in Abu Dhabi on 4th-5th March, 2014.

This partnership means that in addition to PennWell’s world class avionics-focused exposition and conference (more than 60 exhibitors, 900 visitors and 250 delegates in Munich 2013), our partners will also have access to the more than 13,000 visitors and more than 160 exhibitors (2013 figures) who will attend the Abu Dhabi Air Expo – the region’s only general aviation exhibition.

Since acquiring Avionics Europe, PennWell invested in growing it. Since strategically relocating it to Munich 3 years ago, we have increased the numbers each year. Overall since 2010 the show has grown by:
